Star Above the Garter is a very sweet jig that I started teaching in my last couple of years of teaching full time. It’s Irish as far as I know, but the B part starts in another key, which reminds me of French Canadian and New England jigs I grew up with. Bundle and Go was a flip-through tune. I flip through books of tunes, either books that we found or created, or that my father John Wobus collected and transcribed. I found Bundle and Go and I like the rhythm in the A part. All’s Quiet was an attempt to write a tune like Star Above the Garter that might “pass” at an Irish Jam. I don’t know, still sounds a little New England to me.
